    Notre Dame has been playing Michigan State and Purdue every season longer than they have been playing Michigan. That's true. What happened in the 19th century has no bearing on scheduling decisions now. The current scheduling agreement with Michigan is much more recent than the ones that Notre Dame had with Purdue and Michigan State, so it makes perfect sense that if someone had to be dropped, Michigan would be the choice.


    If only your wishes affected reality.

    I really doubt it, but we'll see. Oregon, Kansas State, and Notre Dame all have tough games remaining. I also really hope that Louisville loses at Rutgers because they're not very good despite being undefeated.
