    It seems like their season has been spectacular and Coach Weis has done an absolutely outstanding job, but they were talking about the teams and who they beat, and I thought they had done a TON better than how well they really did. They only beat two teams with winning records (Michigan and Navy who are both 7-5), they beat zero teams that will be ranked at the end of the season, and they finished the year 9-3 and one of those 3 losses was to Michigan State at home. I just thought that was real interesting because everyone on T.V. has been on the ND hype machine all year long. Sure Brady Quinn's numbers have improved but all in all I think Urban Meyer did about the same job as Weis did and he is being hailed as a dissapointment and the two schools have about the same expectations of BCS bowls and National Titles, and both will probably be somewhat near each other in the polls at the end of the year. Oh well, i wouldn't be shocked if Notre Dame is ranked #2 behind Texas in the polls starting next year.

    I'm surprised they lost to OSU. I mean after all, the announcers both before and during the game kept reminding us about how Weis was the greatest college coach to have ever lived and how he won 4 Super Bowls all on his on. No way mere mortal coaches such as Tressel could outcoach someone of Weis superior talents.

    They make more money from the BCS if they stay independent.

    I've read rumors that they'll join the Big East...now that the Big East sucks, they'd win it every year.
