Is it a Federal Law that Notre Dame must play in the BCS? I don't care how may fans they bring, they will get raped by LSU. There were a lot of teams that were more deserving of a big payday over the Irish. Hell, give the spot to Rutgers, or Arkansas, or Wisconsin.

wisconsin I'd think...they only have one loss and it came to michigan at the big house and was actually leading at one point. But you can't have 3 teams from one conference in the BCS.

but yes. The voters blow ND.

Notre Dame can compete with any team in the nation. Rutgers blew their wad so they're out. Wisconsin can make a case but Arkansas? You can't lose the last two games and expect a BCS bid.

I don't think either Wisconsin or Arkansas are eligible because I think there is a two team limit per conference for BCS bids. At least that was the explanation on the BCS show about why Wisconsin was not given a bid, who otherwise would deserve a bid over ND.

Gutter, Notre Dame did in fact lost two games themselves. But yeah, between Notre Dame and Rutgers, I can't fault the Sugar Bowl for selecting Notre Dame.

Except a team that can't beat their crosstown rivals.

Forgot about that. They're the next highest team eligible. Still doesn't make it right that they can make it and not have to answer to conference restrictions.

When you take a look at Notre Dame's schedule, who did they beat. Best win was probably Georgia Tech. Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Homeland Security should not help them in the BCS.

Georgia Tech will lose in the Gator bowl knocking them out of the Top 25 and ND loses to LSU. Weis still doesn't have a win against a team that finishes the year in the top 25. How sad
