I think he's going to Duke. He's said all along he wants to go to a basketball school, not a football one. his dad is the only person who keeps the rumors about him not going to Duke alive. I think he's the only reason Paulus didn't sign with Duke on signing day.

Why would he hold a press conference to announce something he's already announced?

For his sake I hope he goes to a school like Duke where he will only play one sport. He might end up like Ronald Curry if he tries to do both.

To make the official announcement like lots of them do when they sign the LOI.

I figured he was going to go elsewhere to play QB instead of dook to play basketball. I think he has a better chance at being a star QB than a star PG.

But apparently he didn't make it official on signing day because his high school team was still in the playoffs. And I haven't read any rumors that he is close to verballing on a football scholarship - and I doubt he has a press conference to say he ISN'T going to dook.

So my guess is the dookies have him.

Until February of course when he asks out of his LOI so he can sign to play football somewhere

Notre Dame, Miami, Boston College, Syracuse, and Florida State are all after him. He's already had a PC to announce he's going to dook. Now he'll probably anounce otherwise. That's my point why have to announcements. Something isn't quite right with the situation. And his excuse that he's in the playoffs and didn't want to concentrate on the LOI... well that's kinda dumb. If he has a problem signing his name to three different sheets of paper, and faxing them, then I sure and hell want him at dook.

If he does that he needs to go with Football. Because he's got a better chance at being a Pro Football player than he does a pro basketball player.

I disagree. More hyped high school basketball players go pro than hyped high school football players.

And he's considered a better football prospect with more room to grow than he is a basketball prospect. True its easier a basketball player with a lot of upside to go pro, but he's not seen as an upside guy. He's seen as a four year college basketball player. Not an up and coming star, but in football he's seen as one of the next "big ones". Furthermore if he goes to dook for basketball he CAN'T play football for 2 years. If he signs a football scholarship he can play both sports for 4 years. BTW I think that's a dumbass rule the NCAA has. But he's not gonna go play football at Duke he's already said that himself.

I think Notre Dame had a great shot at him for QB but fucked that deal up when they fired Willingham - Derick Nicholson just dropped Notre Dame for the same reason. ( good news for UNC football)

I'm surprised Spurrier isn't after Paulus since he seems to be scrambling to find a QB ( especially since Cameron Sexton told him thanks but no thanks and verballed to UNC  )

But I do believe Paulus will be telling the world he is officially joining the dark side
