put iowa st in big 10, tcu can join big 12 and boise could join pac whatever they are. That would solve the whining of boise st and tcu about the bcs because they would never sniff it again.

It will help recruiting in NJ, which typically turns out strong football recruits. It's in a college town similar to nearly all the Big 10 schools (State College, Ann Arbor, West Lafayette). It's in the NYC media market.

In the end, it would help the conference to add any of the schools that are being thrown around because it gets them a football championship game. In terms of creating divisions, it would make the most sense to take of the schools from the Big 10 and add them with Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern, Iowa, and Illinois. Or they could just do something weird like the ACC did with their divisions. If something does go through, I wonder hwo far down it trickles this time?

Rutgers would add more to the Big 10 than any other school due to their location. New Jersey is a rich area for college football talent and Rutgers is the only big time college football program near NYC. Pittsburgh would not be that appealing because the league already has Penn State. Cincinnati, forget it. Syracuse, no way. Missouri is a slight possibility IMO but nobody brings more to the table than Rutgers. Notre Dame could get in if they wanted but they will not split that NBC money with the rest of a league.
