    .
I'm not trying to bash Camden - it's a nice place. Those ratings are also pretty heavily weighted towards new ballparks. Things like specialty foods and funstuff. I also think that was done before some of the latest renovations to Fenway over the last couple of years.

Don't get me wrong. I still have a soft spot for old Cleveland Municipal Statium but it was still a dump. Nothing wrong with the new statiums. They are reacting to smaller demand and more fan entertainment. So far they have done a very good job.

OK, you caught me – I exaggerated to make a point. That point was that to say that Fenway can’t hold a candle to any park is crazy. It’s always talked about as one of the best. Last year’s ALCS game 4 is a prime example. The crowd would not let the Sox lose. When they got down early, the crowd kept pushing them on. Then in Game 5, the crowd kept it up.

On a different note, have you been to Petco?

yea. its an alright park overall. could have done better...they let kids play cball past the stands in the outfield which is cool for the kids but cuts down on the standing room...its also confusing with its various levels. you can be on level 2 and go downstairs to goto level 3...the crowd is pretty good though

I looked and looked at the espn piece and couldn't find the part where it said Fenway couldn't hold a candle to Camden Yards. someone want to point that out?
