Clayton was on ESPN earier saying that they've scaled back on some aspects of the offense for Carr, but have added more deep passing routes in the package as well. Could be they're simply cutting back on things that aren't working as well as they expected.

Don't like it. Maybe he doesn't, but I don't see why he wouldn't know the O.

If it's a matter of putting in the things he likes and works well with, great. If it's a matter of getting all 3 guys up to speed on the same stuff at the same time, great. I'd hate to think he can't learn the whole O in 7 months.

I don't think it's as much for Carr since he's not been practicing, but rather for Moore since he may have to go on Sunday to be honest.

    Vinny's 43, soon 44. Coordinator Jeff Davidson is 40.

Vinny was heisman winner in 1986. His QBs coach, Mike McCoy, in 1986, was a freshman in high school. Dwayne Jarrett was born in 1986.

Stat of the week (or maybe the year): In their first 12 seasons, the Carolina Panthers attempted 6,229 passes. You can add the 150 passes they have thrown this year.

Either way, new quarterback Vinny Testaverde has thrown more career passes than the franchise. Testaverde has attempted 6,529 passes since starting his NFL career in 1987.
