nah he got his power from the Chemical he was creating to make a super soldier for the Army... He had to test it on himself because he was gonna get shut down. It was the chemical in the cannister that his son had in his hand at the end of Spiderman 2.

yeah, i know that part. but the flying machine and his armor seemed to be part of that whole "super soldier" bit. he's got controls built into it for his flying thing which sort of give the impression it's not just some inert "normal" armor. but yeah, i don't think they ever say it's powered.

nope, but even the comic book Green Goblin had remote control of the Goblin Glider. I think the suit may be bullet proof or a touch armor like substance, but it wasn't powered and it didn't give him any realy physical advantages other than protection

I'm pretty sure that if I pulled on a spider's legs (even if they are attached to webbing) half as hard proportionatly as Spidey's are in the train scene then they would be coming off. Shouldn't Doc Ock's spine break from all that weight?

This wasn't as good as the first, to me. The action was incredible, but I feel like Spiderman wasn't Spiderman enough. There's not a whole lot of clever dialogue and the movie got pretty cheesy at times. Sure, comics can be cheese, but for a movie you should siphon that out.

I liked it better than the first one, but I missed the smart ass SPidey who taunts his foes and makes wisecracks. It did get kinda cheesy there at the end. I kept wondering how many takes it took for Kirsten and Toby to spit out some of those cornball lines.

I also dread the return of the goofy green goblin suit. Wasnt his son Hobgoblin (different suit, etc?)

What about Jameson's kid? I seem to remember him turning into a werewolf or something cornball like that in the comics.

I thought Dunst was OK - I don't know who else they would have gotten to cast as a voluptuous bombshell that could act and looked the right age. The chick on Will and Grace maybe but she looked too old for Toby and she's not really all that voluptuous. I do think she (Dunst) looked a hell of a lot better in the first movie, I didn't like the new hairstyle. But I liked the movie as well as the first one other than that.

if a few years older she'd fit the MJ part better than Dunst did. Good call there.
