I caught a free screening this morning at Carolina Pavilion.

2 words: Too long. Damn movie was about 2 hours, 15 minutes. Poorly edited. Some of the lines were reminiscent of "Batman and Robin." Cheesy. It has its moments (such as a very wet Kirsten Dunst) and cool action sequences. I'm a fan of Alfred Molina, and thought he was cool as Doc Ock.

Tobey McGuire is and always will be miscast. He appeared more like Clark Kent than Peter Parker. Way more clumsy, as the opening sequences will show (janitor's closet).

    A C+ probably.

    Spider-Man 2

Saw it last night....i liked it better than the first. They did an awesome job on Doc Ock's arms and I thought the guy they had playing him was perfect. If you liked the ofrst one, you'll like this one.

Better than the first one IMO

Saw it yesterday. I thought it was much better than the first one. Al Molina rocked. Would've liked to see more of cutie pie James Franco. :mushy: Had to deal with constant distractions from several crying/whining babies and toddlers in the theater whose dopey parents refused to take them to the lobby, so I'll probably try to see S2 again.

I liked it, but it did drag a bit in spots. Would've made an awesome novel. I don't really know why, but I think I would've preferred an ending that didn't set up for the next movie. Edit that out, and they could've wrapped the series at two, and quit while they were ahead. I think I would've actually preferred that.
