Every game will be a game with a shitty offense like ours.

I see what you mean Wossa, but seeing how there weren't that many seniors on the roster, and the defense is #1 in the country, they remember, and they'll be looking for revenge. More so, its at Carter Friendly Stadium, Wake will get killed.

I kinda like Wake getting the 11. Might get more than 11 when Saturday rolls around.

Those were two REALLY tough games State just played.

THERE WILL BE TV (IN RALEIGH AT LEAST)

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA
    ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE
    THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2004

TAR HEELS AND WOLFPACK FOOTBALL GAME TO BE SEEN ON DIGITAL CABLE & ABC-11

CHAPEL HILL --- The University of North Carolina will play host to NC State in football on Saturday, October 9, at 6:05 p.m., as was originally scheduled earlier this week.

WTVD, the ABC-owned station in Durham, will provide the game live and free of charge on Time Warner Cable's Digital channel 213. WTVD will also show a taped delay broadcast of the game at midnight on ABC-11.

People in the viewing area who have a digital receiver may also see the game live at channel 11-3.

The game is sold out at Kenan Stadium.

"We appreciate the work the staffs at WTVD and Time-Warner Cable did this week to get the game televised to as many people as possible," says Carolina Director of Athletics Dick Baddour.

"We had discussions about doing a pay-per-view telecast, but the earliest window we could begin a pay-per-view game was at 7 p.m.," says UNC Director of Marketing and Promotions Norwood Teague. "We believe those fans who had bought tickets would prefer the earlier 6 p.m. start.

"This is the best of both worlds," continues Teague. "We've heard a lot of positive comments from our fans who attended the 6:00 game against Georgia Tech and those fans who were unable to get tickets to the NC State game now have multiple opportunities to watch."

The game won't be shown now in Mecklenburg Co. on Time Warner . l. . . It seems that both schools forgot that the game can only be shown in the home team's market (Raleigh-Durham) if the game isn't picked up by RAYCOM/ABC/ESPN . . . Damn, why didn't UNC just agree to make it a PPV game and start the game at 7pm   ? ? ? Like 1 hour is going to make that big of a difference . . .
