I think it's a good idea to keep him out this game anyway. No need in him getting pounded on by Tampa defense.

As bad as I want to see him play, it's best to wait.

I'd like to see him atleast 4 or 5 carries, and be in on about 10 plays, just to let him get a feel. Who knows, he may only need one carry to score :D

Duce ran all over Tampa last week, it'd be nice to see what he could do and to take a little pressure of the QB.

Yep. I want him 100% after the bye, not on IR after 4 carries on Sunday afternoon.

I always have liked Mike Minter.

Agreed on Foster, but with him our offense is nothing to strike fear in the hearts of defenses. Without him...

I'm starting to agree Foster will be a bust - as in in the tub 10 games a year.

Oh well. At least he wasn't a first rounder.

It is disconcerting, particuarly knowing my Pre-Draft fears about his durability and fumbling at UCLA and seeing Portis' success.

He's bigger and stronger. Explosive runner in college. He'll come through. We are not just basing our hopes on pre-season performance.

Say it enough, it starts to ring true.

    True dat Piper...
It is nice to see the coaching staff realizing the big picture. He could be a huge piece of a pretty damn good team here next yr. No need to hurry him back. His health concerns (along with the fumbling) got him to us in round 2 anyway - so it was a gamble.
