well I'm sure people were calling for it before the season. Fact is Bonds is the Giants.

only in your Dodger homer dreams

Pujols numbers are every bit as good as Beltre's and gets the nod for leading a team that crushed the competition

    and still is.

if Beltre didn't play for the Dodgers, dodgers would have finished 3rd place. If Pujols didn't play for the Cards, Cards would have finished 1st place.

Most Valueable Player to the team, goes to Beltre. Common sense. Thats how the vote is anyway, but we will find out here shorlty for sure.

    franchise and i agree wholeheartedly.

i'll say it again. beltre SHOULD win, but bonds WILL win. pujols is an easy 3rd place pick in my eyes. he is surrounded by names like edmonds, rolen, renteria, walker. hell, reggie sanders bats 7th in that lineup and is a 3 or a 5 hole hitter on most teams. pujols is great, but his surrounding cast hurts his chances in the mvp race. in my opinion.

Bonds lack of a supporting cast and the fact that he still put up the numbers and kept his team in the race until the final weekend is the reason he should and will win it.
