cubs win 5-3 after howry gives up two hits allowing the tying run to advance to 2nd and winning run to 1st....bases loaded and a ground ball to theriot ends it. no more dempster....i'm too young to grow this many grey hairs.

but, hey, CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! :cheers2:

I'm glad I just got home and wasn't following this pitch-by-pitch. Pretty sure I'd be down to my knuckles by now.

    BTW, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, can we go ahead and take the next two so I can sleep easier? Please?

as of last night, NL West's 4th place team had a better record than the 1st place NL Central. Watch the West if you want to see how real baseball is played bitches.

Reds visit Wrigley for a 3 game series starting tonight at 8:05 est. Arroyo will be on the bump for Cincy and Rich Hill will be going for the cubbies. I like our chances tonight. Arroyo is 9-14 with a 4.31 era. 12 games left in the regular season, and the cubbies are starting to get hot. By the way, who gives a damn about the west, start a new thread. and oh, didn't your NL West representative lose to the NL Central representative in 4 games in the playoffs last year? Didn't the NL Central representative win the World Series? as long as you are playing in october, you can throw that regular season garbage in the trash. GO CUBBIES!
