I'm waiting to see how the Virtual Console thing works out. If a good library of classic third-party games becomes available, I will become a Nintendo customer again.

well some of them they just won't be able to get. Stuff on the n64 like goldeneye isn't owned by them anymore. Lots of issues with rights also comes up since they aren't releasing them on the original system anymore. Using the goldeneye game again, rare is now owned by microsoft, the james bond franchise is partly owned by Sony now, and game rights belong to activision.

The ones I care about are mainly on classic NES. The Castlevanias, River City Ransoms, and a few of the more obscure gems of the era.

I've got one and it feels like Christmas when I was a kid and got the original NES. No HD graphics but just tons of fun. I highly recommend it. My wife loves playing Wii sports bowling and golf and shockingly has started playing Zelda. She's 7 hours in. In the past she wouldn't play any game where you had to press more than a couple of buttons but with Wii's motion controls it makes everything very easy.

It's way better than just pushing a bunch of buttons.
