For the record, we're 5-5 right now.

they're going to a regular 14 team division instead of 7 and 7.

The last I heard was a definite on ECU, probable Saint Louis, and possible Cincinnati, but also possible Southern Mississippi. The Memphis bunch is going to push Cincy & Louisville hard, I don't think they can get both. It would hurt us $$$wise in that one home game but we're stuck. I think Cincy would want us but CUSA officials have screwed us since day 1 and we'll get no favors, regardless of the Bearcats and the 49ers pretty much being the teams to beat for years. Of course, maybe the tide has changed there after this season too, LOL!

Right, but instead of playing everyone once like the women do and alternating years, it will be everyone once and 3 other games, making 16 total. One will be a "local" rival and ECU is it, since we have no other school near by.

Well since Memphis is one of the pillars of the conference they should get what they want.

I'd be happy with Cincy or Louisville. With Pitinio, they could be a contender every year.

I would be too, but consider this. If we do get both of them only once, they could both be played on the road and our chances would be deeply dimenished playing two good teams away from Halton. Playing schools once and possibly on the road will make winning at home even more important and we'll have to steal the road wins when we can.

What would be really nice is if they rotate the Conf USA tourney here when we get the new arena.
