All right, here's my sales pitch for Jason Jordan/ Ninerreport.com. :D

Ninerreport on rivals.com is ALL NINERS. Isn't this atleast part of the answer??? I know the Observer coverage is a respect issue BUT Ninerreport is dedicated to 49er basketball.

    -49er basketball only
    -Never seen an ACC story
-The members request what they want to read/ask questions
-Interviews with current players (Iti coming soon)
-Interviews and reports on potential recruits
-Insight into the perception of the program
    -Insider information on recruiting visits
    -Message boards :smash:

Yeah, I know it's 5.99 a month but nothing's free nowadays. The Observer is $12/month. Lindy's, Street & Smith, Athlon is $6. Blue Ribbon is $25.

Plus, it gives us national exposure. Players, coaches, the people who know college basketball read Rivals and the other recruiting services. We're playing the game of recruiting. We need the site.

I know some of you don't get into all the recruiting stuff. With more members, we can get MORE. If you guys want information, I think it's the way to go.

We have a source for Niner news and we can halfway stop bitching about the Observer. :D

I hear Jordan will waive the monthly fee if you pimp his site on every other 49er message board.:tdo3:

BTW, who pulled your chain? I thought you only posted to get the attention of Metro. :mushy:

    lefty,
yes ninerreport is good for info, but info only. whatever is reported there trickles down to here and cusatalk. And yes it is good to have a rivals site for national recruiting etc., but it doesn't fill a void by the Observer. I don't look for info from the Observer, but more promotion of the program in this city to assemble more fans, and as you stated....respect.

    H.I.,
I feel ya coming out of the chute with a bang. :D
