Sorry I missed the "s" in is so you had to make it bold............should I point out the fact you spelled problems wrong?

And no, I hadn't heard about the graduation rate problems. Seriously. Basketball players at UD don't have that issue..........I didn't realize that UNCC students dropped out at that high of a rate.

And you got me out on the web looking and what I am seeing is showing that graduation rates are trending up. Can you give me a link to something in reference to what you are talking about? Here is one of the articles I found...

How the hell have you not heard of graduation rates given Dayton plays in the same state as Cincinnati, the poor graduation rate poster child?

Regardless, the graduation rates are pretty much useless as they count transfers and early NBA entrants against the schools rate, unfairly in my opinion.

Ohio State is another one notorious for not graduating players. Didn't the NCAA start threatening to revoke scholarships from schools if they didn't get their graduation rates up?

I don't think uncc has to worry about this too much.

Which would lend at least a partial reason as to why the graduation rates are trending up like OOS said. :coool:

Everything you want to know about this, called APR or Academic Progress Rate, is found at the NCAA Web site, which includes all school's latest numbers and penalties levied against them...
