M9, I think it would be health if you opened up and told us how you really feel about this guy.

HOnestly PI, I've never seen someone asking for donations act so rude. It was as if we should have been honored he stopped in so we could give some cash and get our name in the back of a Niner program.

that guy was doing exactly what the athletic department wanted him to do. if you raise too much money, you actually might grow. that guy helped keep the funds at a minimum, that way we can stay mid major forever.

I have never had any problems with the guy personally, but when I told my roommates last night that he was leaving, they both asked which coach that was. I described him, and they said they couldn't stand him. They played him a game of bball in the SAC and he was trying to coach everybody and tell them what they were doing wrong. They said they actually stopped the game because of him. They were both more than glad to see him go.

It seems he rubbed quite a few people the wrong way.

Metro, which player's are in Nick's "camp"...since you appear to be an expert on this subject? Who might be impacted?

For M9H...Dan Peterson was the Dir of Basketball operations. Why was he out asking for money?

    Impacted?

I don't know. He walked in, was rude to the girls up front when they asked why he needed to see the general manager, never smiled. Real good ambassador to the Niner program.

I met Peterson in the SAC a couple of times. He was a complete dickweed on both occasions. I've also heard others say that Peterson appeared at their business trying to raise funds.

Can anyone confirm this once and for all? After looking at Clemson's web site, it appears Oliver Purnell has a full staff unless someone has resigned their position.

Ron Bradley (Eastern Nazarene '74), Associate Head Basketball Coach
Ron Jirsa (Gettysburg '81), Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Frank Smith (Old Dominion '88), Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Josh Postorino (Dayton '99), Assistant Men's Basketball Coach
Shaka Smart (Kenyon '99), Coordinator Of Men's Basketball Operations
Mac Calloway (Florida '00), Men's Basketball Strength & Conditioning Coach

I don't doubt he said it, I'm just surprised a guy in his position in this day and time would still use that type of language.[/QUOTE]

Coach should never let assistants use language he does not approve of, no matter what recruit is being sought after.
