    Barnett filed a complaint today, the NFL said he went too far.

    How so? If an opposing player had done that, he'd get a 15 yard flag and likely be ejected and fined. Is it ok for an official to do that?

    The official pulled him out of a fight. If a teammate did that it would not even be commented on. Did the big bad ref scare him?

    I don't think I've ever seen a player get ejected or fined for pulling someone off the pile. It rarely draws a flag.

    grabbing someone around the neck and jerking him down from behind is not "pulling someone off the pile." Everyone that has actually seen the video knows that would have drawn a flag if a player did it.

    I saw it and that's why I commented on it. It may draw a flag but ejected?

    The only point I'm trying to make is that the guy shouldn't get away with it, whether Barnett files a grievance or the league does something on its own. If Barnett so much as bumped an official, he'd be ejected and most likely fined, it should work both ways.

    Who cares if anyone thinks Barnett is a pussy for complaining about this. It's not like he could beat the guys ass and get away with it, this was his only recourse.
