assuming two losses, the worst carolina would pick would be 9th -- and that's not even figuring in the tiebreaker.

or the loss we're probably going to get the next two weeks.

The Chicago game is HUGE, if we want a QB in the first. The Winner of that game will probally lose either Palmer or Leftwich. Arizona might get one of them also if the Bengals go Defense with #1.

We are in a 5 way tie for the 6th pick right now but, 2 of those teams play each other and somebody has to win(Wash & Dallas). The tie breaker is opponets winning %-where worse is better.

I hate to pull for losses(and come Sunday I won't be able to) but, if we lose the next 2 it would be pretty good for the draft. With Williams and MaGahee saying they are going back to school(for now) and Manning unsure- there will be a big difference in talent available at 5 or 6 as oppossed to 8 or 9.

I hate myself for saying this but I hope the Bears win also. Either team will be better next year if they LOSE that game. I hate to pull for losses but we need to lose that one!

So, both teams are gonna stand around and say, "no, YOU take the ball!! No no Chicago, YOU take it!" Ooops, can't seem to pick up that fumble or catch that TD pass. Shit, I hate years when we tank it in the end. Hmm, what, only one or two years when we didn't tank it or give up? Oh, well, I guess I have all the bowl games to look forward to. At least my Sunday afternoons are free again.

Yep I wanna lose 2 in a row.

Why not start fasani? No real pressure, like preseason.

The guy could certainly use the practice, seeing as how he passes like it's a bowling ball.

    Seattle 5 9 0.504
    Washington 5 9 0.535

    St.Louis 6 8 0.508
    Cleveland 7 7 0.473

    Baltimore 7 7 0.486
    NY Jets 7 7 0.513
    Kansas City 7 7 0.531

Will be some slight variations pending tonights game (Panthers stay the same regardless) bottom line we could pick as low as 2nd. or as high as 15th. but those would both be extremes. right now we would have the 8th. pick

I'm just guessing here, but I don't think at this stage a first pick QB is even on the teams mind. As Dan Marino said on Sunday, Kordell is a decent shot to go to the Panthers. Not that I want Kordell, but look for him or another Vet to come in. We'll keep Fasani on as a 3rd again next year and depending on "if" there is a QB around with our second or 3rd pick, probably 3rd, look for him to come in. Bye Bye Winky and Bye Bye Peete. But if in the offseason, Old man Peete is not ailing and doing things to please the powers that be to stay in shape, you could very well have

    1. Kordell or other vet.
    2. Peete
    3. Fasani.

I'm not sure FOX looks at it like some do. I mean hell as bad as our QBs suck (which Fox is quick to point out breakdowns from the line, and other issues) we are very close to being an 11-3 or 10-4 ball club. They will look to strengthen the offense in other areas before QB through the draft IMO. And that would be a smart thing to do.
