Since the season is right around the corner - lets see everyone's predicitions for this year...

    Here's mine -

    Division Champs:
    AFC East - Miami
    AFC North - Pittsburgh
    AFC South - Indianapolis
    AFC West - Denver

    Wildcards:
    New England
    San Diego

    Division Champs:
    NFC East - Washington
    NFC North - Green Bay
NFC South - Carolina :p (late change but why not? Da TB Sucks, Dirty Turds and Aints aren't impressing me right now)
    NFC West - St Louis

    Wildcards:
    San Francisco
    Philadelphia

    AFC Champ: Pittsburgh
    NFC Champ: St Louis

    NFL Champ: St Louis

    Division Champs:
AFC East - Miami - Run Ricky run
AFC North - Pittsburgh - D still looks good. Put them back on top of Cleveland
AFC South - Indianapolis - Best in weak division
AFC West - Denver - Oaktown I think will struggle this year

    Wildcards:
    Buffalo - Could overtake Miami
Cleveland - I expect them to be a real monster defense this year.

    Division Champs:
NFC East - Philly - McNabb puts them over
NFC North - Green Bay - Pack is back
NFC South - Tampa Bay - Should cruise
NFC West - St Louis - Looking sloppy so far, but it's the same team, minus a hole at right tackle. If Warner goes down, all bets are off.

    Wildcards:
Seahawks - Should be an interesting race in this division
Washington - Just nip past the 9ers

    AFC Champ: Indy
    NFC Champ: St. Louis

NFL Champ: Indy 49, St. Louis 42 in Overtime.

That Super Bowl would be classic. :D If that happen though - St Louis has a better defense IMO. However if James returns to form look for Indy to be as explosive as anyone. Ismail will help that offense a lot IMO and he is the biggest Fantasy sleeper around. He had a good season last year and that was with Grbac throwing to him. Rhodes hurts but I like Indy in that division. AFC East will be a dogfight, I agree. I think Bills finish last though. Jets, Miami and New England are all better ATP - Bledsoe or not. Good picks though.

This is the only point in the year I would have missed Collin's annual "I'm leaving so I can come back as an already-registered alias" post where he spends time detailing every single point of our season as he expects it. 50/50, but entertaining.

I tell ya, I look at Buffalo, and I see the Rams of 1999. Or at least the Colts.

A much better line. A better QB. Offensively, that’s all they lacked last year. It doesn’t get much better than Price, Moulds, Reed, Centers, and Reisemeria. Throw in Henry and Bryson, you’ve got a Jim Dandy good offense.

Defense is a question mark. They are small. London Fletcher and Nate Clements are the only playmakers. But offensively, if Bledsoe can’t move the ball on that team, he should hang it up.

I didn't think anyone read those 17 page reports... He was wrong as much as anyone. I gotta kick last year when he talked Larry D into picking and starting the rookie QB out west. :D

Agreed, Buffalo is stronger but that division can defend the pass and, really, can defend period. New England has a good pass defense and Miami tops the league in that category. Also, the Jets seem to be a forgotten team a bit this year. They are still quite solid on both sides of the ball. Buffalo will be better but I just question if they can beat ANY of those teams twice. Anything is possible I guess.

The Jets would be even better if Pennington could gain the confidence the team has in Vinny Testicle-verticle.

I predict that I am going to eat lots of wings and drink lots of beer, who wins is irrelevent, the contest is all that matters.

Agreed reason. In the end, it's all about the beer.
