O'Connell isn't that good and lots of teams wanted Walter, he's a guy I wouldn't mind here people place too much emphasis on his play with a bed and breakfast manager as his offensive coordinator.

Walter is the kind of guy they can work with. I agree that you have to throw out that '06 season. O'Connell is positively awful.

That's what happens when a team drafts you for returns and an undrafted guy takes the job.

Maybe he's the 5th unsigned receiver.

Saints waived Rod Coleman...8 year vet, but at 285 is he too light? Note, didn't play 2008-anyone know why? Injury? Not good?

Coleman was actually the name people were throwing around as the guy we should get after trading Jenkins. At the time he was coming off of a quad injury, i believe UPDATE: he had knee quad and tricep injuries prior to the year off. runstopping was never his game exclusively and I have to wonder if injuries and age have taken some away from a guy who relied on exploding gaps more than taking on OLs
