Why are they still looked upon as favorotes in the NL East? They have 2 pitchers that are either old or broken down. Great infield at SS and 3rd but outside of Beltran, Reyes and Wright what is so special?

Mets are a great team on offese, but their pitching is suspect. If I had to tab a faviorate in the NL East now, it would be Philadelphia. Mets shocked me when they did not get Barry Zito, but I can't blame them for not forking over the bucks that the Giants paid to get him. Mets will make a move before the season for another starter. Atlanta has really improved their bullpen and will be a winning team again in 2007.
