who's going to shoot? You can't pick and roll every play. Sometimes you have to simply create. And we can't. I'm worried about that, more than any Carolina/anti-Carolina bullshit.

Kareem Rush is a decent 2-3 man, but they are weak as hell at shooting guard and small forward. I was talking to tons of Tar Heel fans and when Green and Granger were still left on the board after the #12 pick the only thing they were saying was "Gerald Green!" or "Danny Granger!". If Shelden Williams suddenly has a great year this year and gets in the lottery and the Bobcats draft him (which they shouldn't do because with May they have enough people down low), then I'd still be pissed cause it's all a marketing ploy. I'm not saying May is the worst pick in Charlotte history, but c'mon you have to be blind to not see what they are doing by getting Carolina guys. We've already been through this before in the late 89-90 season. Why pass up a 2 guard who has been compared to Tracy McGrady, and go for a backup center, power forward. Both are big risk because just because someone is great in college doesn't mean that they will be superstars in the NBA, but give me the kid who was dropping three's and slamming on people's faces in the McDonald's game, and is 3 years younger, and who will start right away while May is a decent #8 man

I'm not in a position to question the Bobcats because I don't evaluate players in the NBA or college for a living. If they thought May was the best pick, so be it. I'm not going to get all crazed over 2 Carolina guys being picked because a bunch of posers think they should have drafted someone else.

Gerald Green will NEVER be Tracy McGrady... print that out... put it away somewhere safe... and show it to me in 5 years if I'm wrong, but he already has the wrong attitude, he doesn't have near the handle, and is way more of a selfish player than McGrady. He wasn't even the top rated high school basketball player in the nation. I can't remember correctly, but I don't think he was even #2 or 3.

Plenty to discuss, but it doesn't make any of us anymore right or wrong.
