I kind of agree with that. However, good play calling or not, I could see Fox playing Fasani, IF we lose another 3 games like we have the last 3 games.

If we are 3-6, I think we see Fasani.
If we are 6-3, I think Winky is safe. (probably safe as long as we remain above .500)

It's about time!!! They should have never benched Weinke to begin with. I thought he looked good in preseason at least for the two home games. Missed the preseason away games but I thought he looked good yesterday against Dallas. How many passes to Steve Smith drop, 2 or 3? Can't blame Weinke for that.

Lets remember why they started Peete, he would not make mistakes. Well Weinke didn't make mistakes yesterday. If the offense wasn't penalized for a false start they would have had time to spike the ball and go for a field goal. All I got to say is I hope Weinke proves all the naysayers wrong!!!

Depend solely on how Weinke executes the offense.

I don't think Fox will have patience for a lot of picks.

But he's shown patience with the playcalling. We'll see.

I'd want to go farther than 3 games with Weinke in before we pull him unless he is playing that bad. We wen't through the rookie 1st yr starter thing last year. I saw enough of it. Until the season is tanked or Weinke plays horribly Fasani should serve as 2 or 3 as needed IMO.

I think we all want that.

I like Weinke but the man has problems with crossing routes and any type of out-route. Although he did throw a couple yesterday that made me happy. :)

Yes we do, I'll stand up and shout, clap my hands do a little dance, say I was wrong, sing zippity do da if he brings us a winning season. He is starting fresh as far as I'm concerned 0-0.

What are you thinking we'll do with that late first round pick? :D
