New Proposal for Marlins Ballpark

City of Miami officials are now talking about building a new ballpark next to the ORANGE BOWL . . The Orange Bowl would be reduced in capacity from 80,000 to 60,000 seats. I wonder if the University of Miami is down with this plan ?

Bump . . . The deadline for the Marlins and Miami/Dade County to come up with a plan to build a new ballpark for the Fish has come and gone and . . . No plan yet !!!!!! Hmmmmm, how about the Portland Marlins ? ? ? I don't see how Jeff Loria (Marlins owner) won't play the relocation card if Miami/Dade co./State of Florida doesn't come up with the money to build the team a new ballpark . .

Bump again . . . Miami/Dade County Politicos and the Marlins have the framework for a new ballpark deal cemented . . . The only hanging point is whether they can get $30 million from the state. Will they get it before the FL legislature adjornes for the year? Maybe . . . .
