Louisville is only where they are because of their schedule. They are a good team, but when you play UT-Martin, Prairie View A&M, Arkansas State, Richmond, Akron, and Chicago State as your beginning 6 games then you should be undefeated. They play 1 ranked team (kentucky) who is struggling and is clearly not as good as everyone thought they would be, and after that they play Middle Tennessee State, Detroit, and Fairleigh Dickinson. That is one of the weakest schedules I've ever heard for a top teir team. The Big East isn't as tough from top to bottom as people once thought they'd be. Cincinnati is down, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Georgetown were all suppose to be ranked. The Big East was supposed to have half its teams ranked, and the only reason the next three teams behind Duke are Big East teams is because Duke just beat the #2 team by 30. Also, the ACC is stronger than people give credit for. a down year and there are 6 teams in the top 20 as usual. The Big East also has Providence, South Florida, a down DePaul team, Seton Hall, and St. John's holding it down. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't at the top of the RPI by the end of the year.

Not having Randolph Morris has messed Kentucky up for the season.

They struggled againsr Richmond, who has a really solid center/forward (Kevin Steenburge), but no guards.

They are overrated. We're out of CUSA now, but I was already sick of the Pitino factor 2 years ago. How you can be better without Francisco Garcia and Larry O'Bannon, and still not having a PG, is beyond me. They are a fraud. Dean's still a stud though and will win a couple of games for them to keep up the mystique.

when your point guard leads your team in rebounds, it's a good clue that you're gonna struggle, even against a mediocre team like UNC.
