New NIKE Panthers gear

These are actually a couple of years old but I thought Nike hit on the panthers colors well. Maybe Mare can get a pair to miss FGs with.

 

I have seen black helmets as well. Has this been confirmed or just silver with the new logo?

I guess I prefer new age looks over fucking throwbacks. I can't stand it when certain teams wear those. Uni's from the 70's and 80's look ugly as shit in HD.

 

I really don't see what the big deal is. It's only minor changes to the pants, added a Nike swoosh and a new logo. the shoes will be covered up in tape and receivers have always worn gloves. I cant remember when they wear home white are the pants white as well or are they different?

 

The biggest issue I have with throwbacks is that they wear them way too much. One game every three or four years... one week, league-wide. The way they drag those things out now (seemingly every other damn week) causes it to lose it's distinctiveness.

Same thing with wearing pink in October. The whole freaking month? A quarter of the season? Way too much... Overkill....

I think it would be neat to see some of the "drawing board" designs that didn't make the cut, such as the black helmet.
