    Good catch.

It may have something to do with it being a general non-specific power or something. Alice's power works with Bella as well, the only time she can't see her is when she is with the wolves.

    Ok.

So powers that need to get into her head, like Edward's and Jane's, don't work, but shouldn't Jasper have to get to her head as well to change how she's feeling?

Exactly. Jasper effects the mood in a room. Not in a person's head.

(And please kick me for knowing the answer)

Most guys do hate these movies. Apart from the obvious insecure/immature comments from most younger males, the real reason is the emotional imprinting onto fictional characters that creates emotional instability in some people. The films that women bring up to challenge the hypocrisy in Twilight bashing (ex. Transformers, GI Joe) doesn't hold water because males are generally not emotionally vested in the characters after the film ends. Better examples are the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises. Not that males fall in love with anyone from the films, but live out the fantasy of these films in extremes. The Twilight series is roughly on par with melodramas and soap operas only with a younger gothic twist that was inevitable, and the scary part is that older women have identified with Bella and fallen in love with the idealized tween version of males. As with anything, it's fine to enjoy the films as entertainment, but don't make it your life. So, I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror. If anything, I could say this cab is rare, but I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Bel-Air.

I just like science fiction shit and fighting between vampires and werewolves. But I still don't get how these vampires only sparkle in the sunlight, instead of burning to ashes, also confused as to why they can't just turn into bats and fly away.

I went to see the movie tonight and noticed that Lucien (the werewolf leader from the Underworld movies) was one of the vampire "royalty" in this one. I can't remember his actor name and don't feel like checking. Anyway, the special effects were good and I thought the movie itself was OK. Guarantee it beat the hell out of men staring at goats. :rotflmao:
