    I took high priority updates 2 days ago... yesterday i took optional software updates.. and today i took a hardware update...

    At least i have friends ...

    With the java command trick you would, with the .dll hack you would not. As Bootay pointed out, even without hacking, you can get the security patches. But if you are concerned about privacy, or tinker with your hardware alot, hacking the .dll and the activation is the way to go, even if you purchased XP.
