    made my first trip there today. its alot bigger than the hole-in-the-wall that they used to have here in town. the weight room is ok i guess but i miss the old leg press/sled machine. you could load that thing down with as much free weight as you wanted without risking your lower back. nice basketball courts, racket ball, cardio rooms, lap pool, kiddie pool, day care, etc. its crowded too, lots of newbies with their trendy gym clothes. their was some lake norman talent flitting about as well........perks i guess.

    its near the morrison plantation sub division. get off on exit 33 take a left onto williamson rd. towards vinnies. keep going until you get to the light near brusters ice cream. take a left and bear right at the circle. take another right past the eye clinic and the new ymca will be straight ahead, you cant miss it. its huge.
