Memo to Stuart Sternberg (New Managing Partner of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays): Its not that Tropicana Field is a crappy ballpark, its the team that's crappy   !!!!!!!!!!! A team that has sucked since day 1 is angling for a new ballpark already. What is Stuart thinking? A market that barely supports a 'major league' ball club is not going to be shaken down to build a new crib. How about put a winning club on the field first Stuart  ? ? ? ?

Devil Rays New Managing Partner Getting ready to play the 'Build us a new Stadium or Else' game soon

I'd love to see MLB baseball come to Charlotte too, but wouldn't it suck to be a new team in the same division as the Yankees and Red Sox?

The Trop sucks. Been there once. It's like being in a warehouse. Very bland structure.

AS for Charlotte and MLB. Not happening anytime soon. Can't even get a minor league team uptown. And no bull about "Well, it's a minor league team." Indianapolis and Louisville have supposedly great stadiums with great draws.

No that would be cool because we could see them in town all the time.

Its like if the Panthers were in the NFC East. That would have been cool.
