    I don`t know. Being soft is an intestinal fortitude thing. I don`t know if coaching can change that.

    McDaniels would probably do a better job of specifying roles of offensive players, particularly McCaffrey, who would probably cede short yardage and possibly third down snaps to different personnel, but that's about the only positive I can think of. It boggles my mind that he's still a top head coaching candidate.

    Setting aside the Indy debacle, which should probably be enough to disqualify him anyway, my main concern with McDaniels is a lack evidence that he's still an effective coach outside of New England.
