Well, I will say the bobcat logo was done better than the panther logo...

I think TBR needs to do a guerilla raid on the bobcraps office and replace every one of those minor league logos with a batgrafix original work o'art! :chair:

I think the logo is ok. In a few yrs it won't matter IMO. I do like the colors - at least they are different.

I know it's just because of the banner, and the colors will be reversed on the jerseys, but it reminds me of the Knicks more than the Suns.

I like the color scheme better after seeing it in the logo/banner. Does look Knickseque. Hope they play better

It's a ripoff of the Predators logo

I hate to say it, but it resonates as redneck. "bobcat" sounds like redneck slang, even if it isn't. can you hear the knicks and nets fans makin fun of us already?

I'm still diggin "Charlotte Ocelots". I'd go to the games just to hear "Jim Bob", who's sharing nosebleeds with my cheapskate ass, try to pronounce it after a six'er. And you thought you mangled "ociffer". :D

I was in the anti-Bobcat camp when the name was unofficially announced last week but after I've seen the logo today, I can handle it . . . There were some NC Forest Rangers there today at a booth near the main stage and they told me that there are bobcats in the state . . I will assume this is the main reason the team picked this name vs. Flight or Dragons.

During WFNZ's PRIMETIME today, Ed Tapscott (Bobcats COO) did mention during the 5pm hour that in trying to come up with a logo, 1) For the Flight, they could never come up with a concrete design and 2) For the Dragons, they could never find a middle ground between being too medival (i.e. Middle ages, dark colors) and too comical (i.e. Homer the Dragon). Though I do think batgrafix's DRAGONS design would've been the perfect solution  . . .
