Now I remember another negative that stuck out in my head while at game. Walls was pulled when the Panthers were 3rd and longer than 5 yards everytime. WTF is up with that? Routinely if the Panthers faced a 3rd and say 8-9 he was trotting off the field. Thats Walls time ! Why do they pull him?

I was impressed that we got Walls involved early, but we did get away from him as the game went on. It seemed like the Ravens made adjustments to take him out of the game.
He was in on a few third down situations, but more as a decoy than anything else.
Terry needs to shit or get off the pot. Stuessie does have a tendency to move early, but Terry was in his stance and set and a few time I saw him actually swinging his arm? One in particular was the roughing the passer play early in the second qtr., I don't know what the hell he was doing or why he didn't get flagged for it.
Peete had, maybe, five bad throws...all long balls. Age is a factor, then again...he was never much on the long ball anyway. Thus, he's been a career back-up for the most part. It didn't confront me none, I expected it. Hie short to intermediate passes were on the money and with some zip.
Mangum looked more like Steve Smith on his first reception. Nice move to the inside and good YAC!
Smith, Goings and Hoover played well. Hoover with pure power and grit, as usual, and the RB tandem was patient and waited for plays to develop.
Overall, offensively, I think Hennings called a brilliant game. Might have showed his hand a little, but whatever it takes to equal last years record is OK by me. Showing those plays isn't that big a deal, it's using them wisely that counts.
The D-line looked good for the most part. They obviously wanted it more than the Ravens O-line in the first half. Even in the second, the Panthers got after it...but with less success, still good play by those guys. Peppers drawing the doubles freed Buckner, Jenkins and Rucker up for good games. They took what was given. While Pep seemed absent, it really was a plus.
The backers where getting involved, although Navies didn't impress at all. Fields and Morgan had pretty good days.
Howard got picked on alot, but he played it well. Didn't let them get in his head. Cousins played well, although they didn't really focus on him...Howard was the easier target. Minter had some nice hits and did a nice job keeping Heap in check. Grant was pretty much absent, but made a few plays and was in position to make plays if needed, luckily our tackling has improved so we don't have to rely on Grant to make alot stops.
TS had a nice day with his foot, and Kasay was fine...you can't expect ever 50+ yarder to be good. Other than Smith's PR, our return game was barely adequate.

He only had 2 for 14 yards, but that 9 yarder I was talking about was pretty SWEEEEET!
