needles

I was wondering, what could possibly be a negative side effect of sticking yourself with a hypodermic syringe that has been kept strerile until you've been stuck. Please, don't ask why I need to know this because I know you don't really want to know.

 

I know many diabetes patients re use their own needles if that is what you are asking.
Those little tuberculin syringes can be reused if need be, but that is just my personal opinion. I wouldnt say... lay it around uncovered and then reuse it.
The only other couple of negatives I see are after a couple of sticks the needle dulls. A sharp needle is less painful. Secondly, you would never want to mix drugs of any sort and sometimes drugs crystalize after exposure to air. That could be dangerous of course if going IV, but I bet we are talking an intramuscular injection right?

Actually, we're not talking about injecting anything. Just being stuck with the needle. Can there be any damage from just uh, "playing" with the needles? Any areas of the body that should be avoided?

 

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Naaaa, I wouldnt think so. Try not to hit the jugular or any major vessels and of course, dont share.

what about saline? I know some fellows who injected it into their scrotums for sexual pleasure. There's really not much on the net surprisingly about this fetish. I saw one guy. They were the size of two grapefruits.

 

No you should never do that. Ive never heard of it and have no idea if it would cause complications, but no, you should never ever do it.

the first stick with a sterile needle is safe. But resicking another site can get a bacteria from the skin of the 1st site ..... and so forth.... and you are basically playing russian roulette for some sort of cellulitis.
