    you used to have UNC, but in order to be called a rivalry, you have to win one every so often.

    indeed it was.

    we lived in Phenix City, AL at one time and grew to like them Tigers/War Eagles; while that regional fondness has faded now......its still HARD to pull for Alabama! :imagestor:

    Auburn's defense was tuff!!

    If the Wolfpack beats Maryland then they go to a bowl, even though they lost to UNC, is that considered a good season for N.C. State fans (not poking fun, actually was wondering)

    N.C. State is an embarrassment this year no matter what happens against Maryland. Winning just six games against one of the easiest schedules in the country is still pretty pathetic, especially given the talent they have. Give Bunting that kind of talent and he'd beat Amato by 40.

    That's certainly a possibility. The other side is that Amato might be a shitty coach, but he's a damn good recruiter. I don't know how he gets all the guys he does, which makes me suspect that he pays them.
