    I don't have a link, but the CA general assembly was debating a law - don't know if it passed - that would make all CA state universities violate some NCAA regs - paying athletes was one.

    the CEO of Gateway was on Patrick's show a couple of hours ago. I don't think it is dead yet. The NCAA has some kind of coonvention this weekend where they could vote on it (because everyone who votes will be in the same place)...he's trying to get someone to bring it up for a vote.
