Great game, Butler did much better than I thought they were capable of. This is probably coach K's best coaching job. He won another title with no superstars this time. This was the most balanced team Duke has had in a long time. I thought they would fall due to not having a true point guard but they managed to get it done.

i think that put K up there with Wooden and Rupp.

the game was really good. you could feel the tension through the tv. that is what i love about this tournament. no matter who you are, what you've done in the past, or national status as a power, you must earn this title on the floor. every team selected has the same opportunity. it is so highly coveted. i only wish D1 football would make the move. they've ignored it for so long.

now....they need to go ahead and erect some kinda NCAA basketball monument somewhere on Tobacco Rd., a hoops center of the universe, if you will. between Duke and Carolina, those cats have kicked some serious ass over the last 20 years, and take a back seat to nobody, except maybe to each other for a while.

this latest chapter adds to the rivalry.

Agreed. There's no rivalry in sports (that I can think of) that has had the success that Duke and Carolina both have had. Not to mention the fact that they're only 8 miles apart.

It's a great rivalry indeed between two outstanding programs. Only thing to do now is for both to face each other in a national championship game.

Makes up for a few they lost when they clearly had a superior team. It's nice to get a 'surprise' one.
