If things fall like I expect them to, and they very easily could, then the ACC will only put three teams into the tourney again.

dook, MAryland and State are locks. But I think both Wake and UVA, the only other teams with a shot could end up losing out the rest of the way, and if that happens I don't see an 18-13 Wake team and a 16-12 UVA going dancing.

UVA will not beat dook or Maryland and will most likely end up playing State in the ACC - UVA can beat State but not when they are free falling like they are.

Wake plays State in their final regular season game, again winnable, but I'm betting the Pack is going to win this one. That probably puts Wake against Tech in the ACC tourney and we saw what Tech did to them last night.

These are two teams I thought were locks for most of the season and now even with a win or two down the stretch they still probably don't deserve to get in.

It doesn't matter who they pick from the ACC or any other coference. Unless your Duke it just doesn't matter.

    DUKE 2002 National Champions.

No actually I do hope we put more than 3 teams in there, but if you don't deserve to go then OH WELL.

I understand that Judy Rose told the selection committee in a conference call back in January that UVA was the most overrated team in the country and wouldn't be one of the 65 invited. As for Wake, they are free-falling out but I think they might be in simply on their strength of schedule, 0-6 against the current top 4 ranked teams isn't so poor but they might need to win a first round ACC game. It will be interesting next Sunday.

UVa will go if they win one game and almost win another in the ACC Tourney (because they will have to play Duke or Md. most likely in the second round) and Wake will go because they play a tough schedule. They are the only team in the nation that has played Duke, Maryland, Kansas, and Cincinnati--a total of 6 games against the nation's top 4 teams (at least until the new polls come out after Cincinnati's loss to Louisville).

Who does the SEC have? Kentucky was to supposed to be a national title favorite and they are a joke. Florida is good but inconsistent. 'Bama has had a great year but they will be bounced early, as will whoever else the SEC gets into the big dance.
