Does Ohio State offer the option to offer a car to recruits or just cash? :thud:

Haven't tried it on the big screen yet. I'm bad about playing most of my games on the 27in in my bedroom. For whatever reason its just more comfortable playing in there.

My Charlotte Cornbread are 1-0 after defeating Navy 22-21 on a ballsy call by head coach Adam Butler to go for two after a late TD. Woot!!

I typically play games in my 55" inch standard signal television through the component cables and all games play fine.

I hooked this up to my 42" HDTV and ran the game in 720p and the screen refreahses were not crisp. In fact if I added weather conditions this title is not playable in HDTV mode. I compared to NFL2K5 and Madden 05 which were slightly slowed down during cutscenes, but otherwise played just fine.

Another title I tested was Halo2 which simply rocked no matter what mode the XBOX is in. The problem I see is that EA is more focused on giving me the ESPN TV effect than they are all round gameplay. As ESPN moves into more HDTV and updates thier screens expect this trend to worsen and pray the Xbox 360 and PS3 can handle the eye candy...

I tried hard to like this game but (and this is just my opinion) it sucks. Defensive controls are disappointing. I can't count how many times I was going in for a sack with my DE and the QB throws and I immediately get control of the CB who is ALWAYS out of position. I have been killed with 75 yd TDs by teams like UCF (ranked 115 offensively). I also can't figure out how to use the "Big Hit" stick. Do I click it, move it up, down, to the left, to the right WHAT. I have RTFM 10 times and still can't figure it out.

I am an ESPN 2k5 fan so maybe my biased is ruining the game for me, but I just can't get into this game. I am taking it back to gamespot tomorrow and hoping that Madden is a better title since EA has monopolized the NFL.

    My $.02
