NCAA Bubble teams just got smacked in the head

    The 7th seeded Oakland Grizzlies beat top seed Oral Roberts in the Mid Continent conference final. The Grizzlies have a 12-18 record. They should change the rules and say if a sub 500 team wins the tourney then the regular season champ goes to the NCAA. I wonder what team from decent or good conference just shit in their pants

    without looking too closely I would guess that that conference was only getting one bid regardless. So whether its Oral Roberts or Oakland it doesn't affect bubble teams. Oral Roberts won't get an at large.

    these are the teams that make the ncaas exciting...and canon fodder for a no1 seed.

    If I were a bubble team, I'd be cheering for Providence right now against West Virginia. If WV wins one more game they are almost certainly going to be NCAA bound

    I know Oral Roberts won't get in, but a 25-7 record with four of those losses being by two points or less is more deserving of a bid I think than finishing at .500 in one of the major conferences.
