    wolfpac, you going to blast Brown for not being able to walk at graduation and having to take an online course this summer to be able to qualify for NC State? or you save the blasting for UNC athletes?

    I haven't seen confirmation of that yet (well, he didn't walk but mainly because a teacher won't let him re-take a test that he missed due to a tournament so it is still up in the air if he can re-take that test, take a summer course at high school to replace it, or have to get an online course to replace it) but if true, I still won't like it one darn bit. I'd rather not go down the road that UNC-CH is doing to get around the rules but apparently, this might be the route it is going.

    Brown is probably the last high profile player you see at Centenial for a while. Most high schools work with these guys to let them take a test at a different time due to their tournament schedules. Centenial (at least this one teacher) hasn't been as flexible apparently. Still, I'd rather him just re-take the course in summer school (like any other student not playing basketball would have to do) than to take some random online course like Redick did.

    You going to admit that NCSU took a higher road than UNC-CH in not letting kids take some 3 week online course to get into college? Brown is heading to Hargrave for a year to get his Academics in order (well, mostly to not miss so many classes due to basketball) and he was the key recruit in our class.
