Let's hope the Beecher experiment ends tonight.

Ya gotta give him some respect for some gutsy running, but that guy doesn't belong at QB. Hell, make him the 4th string RB or something.

That was one excrutiating first half.

Any word on the status of the NCSU's QB Russell?

Heard he had a concussion but reports say it's not as bad as they thought it was, which is good news. NC State plays William and Mary next week(With Evans at QB, that's not a easy win) so hopefully Russell will be back in two or three weeks.

In all seriousness...NC State is going down to Duke at Wally Wade this year. They absolutely suck. They'll win next week, but even in the ACC they look at best a 4 win team.

Is it me or was I not around when TOB changed his offensive scheme to the spread? That's what it looks like to me...a sad imitation of the spread with not the right personnel. I'm a pretty darn dedicated fan of the Pack but I can't even watch this...

I know our O'line sucks but our offense has no vertical direction to it, EVERYTHING is horizontal. Even running the ball Brown was being swung outside every play. This is the same Andre Brown that as a freshmen lit up the Noles in Tallahassee by running a lot of simple off tackles and other plays up the middle.

yeah that offense is brutal to watch. I love Toney Baker and hate he's injured but I dread the thought of him running behind that line with a surgically repaired knee.

Larsen has to go. Put him back on the D-line. Those shotgun snaps were just horrid.

We can thank all of this to Coach Amato. The only reason he hung around was because of Rivers. This team has to have a lot of rebuilding to do. We have to get a QB that doesn't throw off his back foot every time and has the mental capacity to recognize not to throw it to a receiver in triple coverage. Russell wasn't great by no means which didn't expect him to be, but once he went out then Evans came in the team knew the game was over. As much asI would like to see Glennon, I don't think we need to use his redshirt. I think TOB is getting the program in the right direction with his last two recruiting classes he brought in. Once the Amato recruits cycle through and TOB has his guys he wants, I think NC State football will be a lot better.

RW update - No spinal injuries which is great news and is being released from the hospital to travel back with the team tonight. We have to get him back for this team to stand a slim chance this year.

They wont win a game in the SEC if they turn the ball over 4 times.
