Well the D has come a long way since last year, but last years D was like this year rushing game.

It's just going to be hard for the D, when they will be on the field a lot without some ball control at times from being able to run the ball.

I just don't think Bunting is going to be able to get this team to the next level or even keep them where they were last year on a consistant basis.

He does pretty good recruiting, just not sure if his X's and O's are going to work.

It could be a lot of bad luck, but at some point enough is enough.

I always advocated a number of years for the guy, but for the same reasons I've said the same about Chuck: let the guy get his own recruits in there and then go on. I don't watch them enough to know whether he will, but I know they played smart last year, which is one reason they went bowling and State did not.

They did take a step forward last year no doubt. Just very frustrating when they start out like this year to follow it up.

I just not sure how long of a chance you give a coach, the step forward last year probably did buy him a mulligan year this year and he will be able to blame it on the injuries with the running game.

UNC is in big time trouble this season.

They played like crap last night - 12 or 13 penalties - one of them took a 52 yard FG off the board - once player (OL) had three penalties in one drive

The defense is improved but still just average - but the offense was supposed to be the stronger part oif the team but with no running game and a weak O-line they can't score enough to do much damage.

They'll be lucky if they get two wins this season - and after that I believe Bunting is done

maybe he can get a job with the Chippendales

Indeed, because we don't schedule a bunch of high school teams the way N.C. State always has.

Played like crap and still barely lost to Wisconsin, who is hardly a pushover. Imagine what we'll do if we play well.

Oh shut up. Like you all didn't think Utah and Louisville were going to pushovers when you scheduled them.

We've had a number of bigger-named schools back out on us the last couple of years. And as far as the App St. thing for next year, that's really disappointing, but from 2007 on, we have yet to fill out 11th and 12th games, so I hope they can find somebody that ain't skeered.

Let's be real UNC put two D-1A teams on their schedule and State went out and but 2 D-1AA teams on their schedule. There is a big difference, even if UNC thought that Utah and Louisville would be push overs, which I can believe they did, they still are playing the hardest schedule in the nation and continue to put big time teams on the schedule, i.e. South Carolina and Tenn.

I'm not disputing what has happened, but for everyone to assume State went looking for I-AA teams to play is nuts. And there's only one I-AA team on this years schedule.

Oh yeah, and State has a home and home set up with Tennessee.

And they had a home and home set up with VTech before they joined the ACC.

And they complete a Louisville home and home in 2007.
