got this in an email today!!!! woot!

    :trophy:

Pack Pride has learned that NC State (6-5) will face South Florida
(6-5) in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on December 31st in Charlotte, North
    Carolina.

The Wolfpack will be representing the Atlantic Coast Conference while
the Bulls will represent the Big East Conference.

NC State earned the invitation after winning four out of the final five
regular season games to become bowl eligible. The Wolfpack defeated
ACC champion Florida State and bowl-bound programs Georgia Tech and
Southern Mississippi to reach the postseason for the fifth time in six
seasons under head coach Chuck Amato.

South Florida defeated Gator Bowl-bound Louisville and another
bowl-bound Big East team, Rutgers, on its way to securing the Meineke Car Care
    invitation.

*sigh* I've been to all the others, but I won't be attending this one unless it's to pull for USF. And as much as I hate State, I don't think I can make myself actively pull against the ACC.

That is gonna be the worst bowl game ever. South Florida goes 3-8 if they play in an actual conference.

USF did beat the shit out of Louisville, so who knows?

But damn, Boston College really got screwed. I don't blame the bowls after how few fans showed up in Charlotte last year, but it sucks to be 8-3 and end up having to play a road game against Boise State. I'd rather stay home.

I'd be offended, but I know it hurts that you guys can't EVER beat Carolina. Have fun against USF while knowing you lost the game that matters - AGAIN. :supergrin

Honestly, which would you rather have? A bowl game against USF or a win against Carolina? :mdrmed: But hey, we can't all schedule games against Eastern Kentucky, Southern Misssippi, and Middle Tennessee State.
