Sorry wossa, we have to agree to disagree on this one. The kid has just begun his senior year in HS; he can't be annointed the best RB in one of the greatest football conferences in the nation.

    Lets not forget:
    Frank Gore- UM
    Tyrone Moss- UM
    Lorenzo Booker- FSU
    Wali Lundy- UVA
    TA- NCSU
    Bobby Washington- NCSU
    Darrell Blackman- NCSU

Oh yeah, and don't forget Andre brown, last year's NC player of the year

he's got tools, but what about his hands, his vision? Those are things you can't determine without seeing him on the college field. I'm not saying he won't be a stud, but to call him the best next year is a bit of a stretch. The jury is still out there. Oh and PS he won't go to State.

State will have an unstable year this year. They'll knock off a few top teams and lose to teams that leave their fans scratching their head why. PRimarily because Davis isn't the answer at QB, and to be frank Stone isn't (yet). But because of this State will have an aggrivation year for its fans.

not hardly, grasshopper! Davis is ready to lead and as long as we get the ball in the skilled WRs/RBs hands......we are in great shape.

i hope the D comes around.......thats my only concern with this years team

Brain his eyes and his footwork is probably the best part of his game. He can catch the ball too although they don't throw to him very much.

I may be eating my words next year but I'm stating right now I think Baker leads the league in rushing as a freshman. I think he could play in the league right now. This guy was born to be a running back.

I keep hearing State, State, State but I'm not so sure. I don't think he has made up his mind yet. And he really wants to play as a true freshman. I think he can beat out any of the guys currently on State's roster but I wonder if Amato would give him that chance. I would love to see him in Carolina blue - he loves the Carolina running back coach but not sure if Carolina will have a line to block for him.

I think he ends up at Virginia and if he does the hoos will have the #1 class in the nation. Some people already have them ranked in the top five.

Virginia is gonna be nasty. I think Clemson is gonna be like last year's NCSU.
