    The Observer is saying it's Lavin now, but the dumbass writing it also says the search has been 'ultra-secretive' since Calipari. Well then how in the fuck does he know it's Lavin?

    So what do State fans think of Lavin? Didn't he have some success at UCLA?

    He did, and after the first losing season they had in 50 years they kicked him to the curb.

    Weren't there some indiscretions under Lavin as well? I could be mistaken on that, but I thought I remembered something. Anyway, his record suggests that he's a solid coach, but his broadcast deal presumably means he's already making decent money and thus would need a sizeable contract to come back to coaching. It wouldn't be in the Barnes/Calipari range, but I'd still expect more than a mil.
