    yup. until they (casinos) take NBA off the betting books, there will never be a team there.

    I don't think any other city in the U.S. or Mexico would be stupid enough to subsidize Shinn's losses like New Orleans. Can you imagine the Observer if Charlotte would pay Jerry Richardson 186 million dollars not to move his team to Los Angeles? And pay Bob Johnson up to 20 million a year to cover business losses? They do this kind of shit in New Orleans because the city is small and poor and it's the only way to keep pro teams. The taxpayers here would shit a gold brick if the council did something like that. So as long as the tax money holds out in nola, the Hornets will stay put.:banana: :banana: :scared2: :applause: :applause: :scared2: :banana: :banana:
