We'll probably go after a guy like Korver. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. McInnis could be a possibility if Knight doesn't resign. I also agree Simmons could be a good grab as well.

We won't see any names much bigger than those though.

Since McGinnis was a Tarheel and he's from Charlotte, he could help sell those season tickets....ahahaha seriously though he wouldn be a bad player if he came cheap

Vladimir a 2? What are you smoking Dukey? Just say no to Keith Van Flop. I see us going after Korver and Daniels.

This explains a few things and is most current:

    Points of Emphasis
    1. Insider has compiled the most comprehensive list of potential free agents, along with players who have various contract provisions to guarantee all or part of their salary for next season.

    2. A few players and teams have made decisions on free agency in the last three weeks. See below.

    3. The Cavaliers saved $1 million by not making the playoffs. Lucious Harris was guaranteed $1 million if he played at least 1,100 minutes (he played 1,128) and the team made the playoffs.

    4. Nick Van Exel does not have a team option. His $12,731,000 salary is not guaranteed.

    – The difference between a player option and an ETO (Early Termination Option) is simple. A player becomes a free agent if he declines his option but remains under contract if he declines his ETO.

    Offseason Transactions
Charlotte: Bernard Robinson had his salary guaranteed since he was still on the Bobcats roster on June 30. Declined the team option for Tamar Slay. He is an unrestricted free agent. Did not make a qualifying offer to Theron Smith. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Chicago: Did not make a qualifying offer to Jared Reiner. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Cleveland: Declined the $1.76 million team option for Robert Traylor. Waived Lucious Harris. His $2.75 million salary would have been guaranteed on July 1.

Denver: Greg Buckner declined his player option. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Golden State: Calbert Cheaney exercised his $1.76 million player option.

Houston: Vin Baker exercised his $3.85 million player option. Scott Padgett declined his player option. He is an unrestricted free agent.

LA Clippers: Quinton Ross had his salary guaranteed since he was still on the Clippers' roster June 15. Waived Mamadou N'diaye.

Miami: Exercised the team option for Alonzo Mourning. Exercised team option for Qyntel Woods.

New Jersey: Ron Mercer exercised his $1.76 million player option. Team declined its $5,875,000 option for Cliff Robinson. Exercised the team option for Jacque Vaughn.

New Orleans: Chris Andersen declined his $1.76 million player option. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Orlando: Stacey Augmon exercised his player option.

Phoenix: Declined the team option for Paul Shirley. He is an unrestricted free agent.

Sacramento: Exercised the $3,375,000 team option for Bobby Jackson. Greg Ostertag exercised his $4.4 million player option.

Seattle: Antonio Daniels declined his $2.2 million player option. He is an unrestricted free agent.
